Wire Horses

“Wire Horses” is a series of mixed-media paintings that capture the ethereal nature of horses in motion. Created through a dynamic process of layered acrylics, reactive inks, and dyes, each piece emerges through an intuitive technique involving colour washing, palette knife work, and delicate line work applied with a needle bottle applicator.  

The dreamlike quality of these works is enhanced by tiny riders who appear to be carried safely through abstract landscapes of vibrant colour. Each horse seems to materialise from and dissolve into its environment, suggesting a realm where memory, imagination, and reality interweave. Pieces like "Fishing for Polar Bears," "Forest Fishers," "Gentle Spirits," and "Light Dancing" invite viewers into spaces where conventional boundaries blur and transform.
